Clydesdale Bank launched the World Heritage Series notes in 2009. This Series replaced the Famous Scots Series which entered circulation in 1997. Information on the older Famous Scots Series notes can be found by clicking the link on the left, if you have any of these notes they will be accepted for credit to your account at your bank.
The new polymer notes will continue the World Heritage theme with slight design changes incorporated into the new notes and these will replace their paper counterparts. Further information on Polymer security features can be found under the Polymer Banknote heading.
