Bank of Scotland launched the Bridge Series notes in September 2007. This Series replaced the Tercentenary Series which entered circulation in 1995. The Tercentenary Series are still in circulation today, although in very small numbers and if you have any of these notes they are still accepted by retailers and banks.
The new polymer notes will continue the Bridge theme with slight design changes incorporated into the new notes and these will replace their paper counterparts. Further information on Polymer security features can be found under Polymer Banknote heading.
